I BELIEVE: Police hear ghostly voice calling for help

When Utah police arrived at the scene of a car accident on a bridge there were no signs of life. Then they heard a voice. “I felt like I could hear somebody telling me they needed help,” said one responding officer. “It was very surreal.” But that officer wasn’t the only one to hear the voice – later described as that of a woman, not a child. All the men said they heard the same distinct voice asking for help. Without hesitation, the officers jumped into the frigid water to save the person who had been calling out to them. One officer even answered the woman, saying “we’re trying our best to get in there.” With adrenaline surging, the men flipped the car back over onto its wheels. Famously talented actress Meryl Streep, who as I was writing this won yet another Oscar (She wins 1 a week), believes her guesthouse in Connecticut is haunted. From About.com: “Everybody was down at the pool… and I was gathering all the stuff. We were doing some work on the house and we were living in the guesthouse and I was downstairs sitting at a desk and I heard what sounded like a grand piano fall… in the room above my head,” the Daily Express quoted Streep as saying. “My first thought was that it was one of the kids… I screamed upstairs and halfway up the stairs the hairs stood up… and I realised no one was home. For my art update this week, I wanted to share a look at the brand-new Tara Normal story I’m working on: Tara Normal Activity. This is a darker take on the story and character you already love. This new series will only deal with ghost hunting and spirits and demons. Above is how I will draw ghosts in the story- obviously a more horrific version than I’ve offered up before.
