So, as I’m sure you can tell, we love the X-Files here at TaraNormal.com. We answer our phones yelling ‘Mulder!’ and we are not ashamed. We love all of the seasons (screw the haters of 8 and 9!)
Usually what you read about is how the real-life beliefs of the lead actors Gillian Anderson and David Duchovney are actually the opposite of their characters.
Duchovney has always been quoted as being the skeptic. Turns out he saw a UFO once!
‘I believe I saw a UFO once, about 1982, but I don’t know what it was,’ he tells the Daily Star. ‘I saw something in the sky that disappeared.’
Sounds unidentified to me! Case closed!
By the way, we strongly believe that Californication is simply a sequel in the X-Files storyline. It’s what would happen if Scully left Mulder. He’d be just as awesome.

Jermaine Jackson has revealed the the Jackson family’s famous home in Encino, CA is haunted.
Now of course, I’ve long believed a demon lived there but it turned out just to be the family’s good ol’ dad, Joe Jackson.

Seriously, have you looked at the guy? He’s totally evil looking. And I read Moonwalker by Michael, Joe. You are a terrible person, dude. Seriously.
Here’s a quote from Jermaine, the dude who’s not as cool as Michael, speaking about the ghosts:
“They were angry, evil. You could feel the presence.”
See, that just leads to me to think he’s talking about Joe Jackson.

Former Van Halen lead singer and current tequila maker Sammy Hagar believes he was once abducted by aliens.

Hagar tells MTV, “It was real. They were plugged into me. It was a download situation … or, they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment … They were tapped into my brain and the knowledge was transferred back and forth.”

Just in case the aliens are reading this blog, we have way better people you can take knowledge from other than Sammy. Just sayin’!

What a week for musicians and the paranormal. First, Sammy Hagar confesses he was abducted by aliens and now the contestants on American Idol have fled their mansion because they claim it’s haunted.
Seriously.
All of the contestants demanded to be moved from the mansion they were set up at because the ghosts won’t leave them alone.
From TMZ (suddenly a go-to place for celeb ghost stories):

The supernatural drama began after contestants complained about bizarre flickering lights inside the house … followed by a spooky spider infestation.

But the paranormal activity that sent the contestants over the edge happened last week — when several wannabes claim they watched a bed sheet suddenly take on a life of its own and FLOAT down an empty hallway!!!

The lights problem could’ve been solved by an electrician. The spiders could’ve been taken care of by an exterminator.
The bed sheet…well…did any one notice if Paula Abdul left crazy pills behind from two seasons ago?

Above is one I created today: Don Draper from AMC’s Mad Men. If you haven’t ever watched this show, I strongly suggest you do. It’s amazing and it wins the Best Drama Emmy every year it airs. Don Draper is a smoking, drinking and Creative Directing machine with a super secretive past. Plus the ladies love him. The man drinks Canadian Whiskey like its water.

Britt Griffith from SyFy’s Ghost Hunters wore one of our awesome Dr. Frankenkitty shirts to Napoleon Dynamite star Efren Ramirez’s Birthday bash in Vegas! It’s official: Jack Bauer believes in aliens.

Now Fox, please make that movie. Jack Bauer teams up with the X-Files agents to fight aliens. That’s a summer blockbuster.

Kiefer Sutherland, or as I prefer, David from The Lost Boys, was recently interviewed and stated that he believes in life on other planets.
We here at TaraNormal.com agree 100% with him of course.

The 44-year-old actor thinks it is “arrogant” to suggest humans are the only form of life in the universe, and often ponders about extra-terrestrials when he looks up at the stars.

“When I look up at the sky on a clear night and see the wash of stars and planets, and everything that is outside our universe, I have to believe there is life everywhere,” he said.

“It would be very arrogant to believe this is the only planet that could sustain some kind of life.”

Famously talented actress Meryl Streep, who as I was writing this won yet another Oscar (She wins 1 a week), believes her guesthouse in Connecticut is haunted. From About.com:

“Everybody was down at the pool… and I was gathering all the stuff. We were doing some work on the house and we were living in the guesthouse and I was downstairs sitting at a desk and I heard what sounded like a grand piano fall… in the room above my head,” the Daily Express quoted Streep as saying.
“My first thought was that it was one of the kids… I screamed upstairs and halfway up the stairs the hairs stood up… and I realised no one was home. I searched (the rooms)… and there was nothing out of place, there was nothing in the attic, there was nothing on the roof,” she said.

She had a similar experience again after a few years, when her sculptor husband invited some clients from Japan to stay in the guesthouse.

“They had taken the 22-hour flight and had dinner and fallen asleep… They were so tired… We put them all in the house and the next morning (husband) Don went up to collect them… and there they all were in the living room, dressed, wide awake… They said, ‘Spirit, spirit!” she said.
