Preview of Page 1 Pencil Art from Tara Normal Graphic Novel

Here’s a preview of a the pencil art for a panel from page 1 of Tara Normal and the Case of the Boyfriend Robbers From Outer Space.
This is a new character to the Tara Normal canon and I should have some more info on him soon for ya. You can see a creepy cemetery in the background. I’m making this story spooky from the start!

    This looks great Howie, but I can’t help but notice a very strong resemblance between this character and Jake. As usual you take great pride in your details, and it’s definitely paying off with this sketch. Awesome Blossom.

    Thanks, man! I think once you see it colored you’ll be able to see he looks less like Jake than the pencils allow me to convey. But Jake does show up in this book which I think is a cool little bit of info! This new character’s hair is more blonde and he doesn’t have that stubble Jake is known for sporting. I should have another drawing of this character up this week!
